Review of the Army National Guard Bureau
Environmental Assessment for Expansion at the
Readiness Center (Per BRAC 2005 Recommendations)
The BSCL finds that the National Guard Bureau Environmental Assessment is flawed, and that the potential impacts of the proposed facility on the surrounding area are not adequately assessed. We also find that effective and realistic mitigation measures are not fully identified nor are required resources committed to this project.
The BSCL authorizes the President to communicate these concerns to the National Guard Bureau in response to the Environmental Assessment public comment process.
