Barcroft School and Civic League
Resolution
Whereas the developer of the former Nelson properties in the 4600 block of 6th St South has applied for a use permit to convert one of the single family residences into a construction company staging and field office at 4616 6th St South and
Whereas the hours cited for operation of the facility are between 8am and 8pm Monday through Saturday, and Sundays from noon to 4pm, and
Whereas there is no means of assuring that the activities of the site are all related to the construction of houses on the other sites, and
Whereas it is apparent that the developer in proposing the hours of operation has failed to take into account the desire of the neighbors for normal peace and quiet in the neighborhood during hours when the County does not permit construction activities, now therefore be it
Resolved that the Barcroft School and Civic League is opposed to the issuance of the use permit and officers of the BSCL will appear at meetings and hearings to oppose its issuance.
