Barcroft Loves its Parade!

July 4, 2007 - Cool weather for a change!

It was a fine day for a parade--warm and comfortable!

Jack Turner's signs announced the event.




The cooks fired up the grill, led by Scott Peterson and Phil Anderson.




Plenty of water is essential.

Heidi Wicker, our esteemed President




The Woman's Club of Arlington brought ice cream treats.




The National Guard Color Guard from Arlington Hall led off the parade.

Uncle Sam was there again to be our parade marshal..




The Blue Jeans Band performed traditional marches.

The bikes and riders were decorated to the nines

The Playgroup always brings out lots of kids.






The Biller Family had a beach float with
their four generations. It won a prize.

The Morris Dancers came again this year, They
danced all the way and afterwards too.
