  • Treasurer's Report-Regular renters for the Community House are needed. See the website at www.bscl.org if interested.
  • Neighborhood Conservation Plan, Randy Swart - Committees are still open and looking for volunteers to update the Barcroft Neighborhood Conservation Plan. The Plan provides guidance on the neighborhood's opinion on important issues and helps determine our priorities for how Arlington public funds should be spent. Contact Randy Swart, randy@bscl.org, for details on available committees-or if you are interested in being a block captain in charge of disseminating and collecting the surveys for your block.

Presentations

  • Police Unity Tour-Officer Mark Massella, 8th Street neighbor, will be riding in the Police Unity Tour, a 300-mile bike ride to raise funds for families of officers who have been killed in the line of duty and to support the officers' memorial. See www.policeunitytour.com if you would like to donate to this cause.
  • Greg Zell, Chief Naturalist, Long Branch Nature Center-Mr. Zell is conducting a 3-year project to inventory Arlington's natural resources, including plants, animals, insects and other resources. Volunteers who would like to participate in mapping Arlington's resources can become trained observers. Training sessions to be held in April. Email gzell@arlingtonva.us for details.
