Subject: Monthly Crime Statistics
Everyone:
I am forwarding the May crime statistics to you. The two areas that concern me the most are the robberies and the burglaries. The robberies are situatted along the Columbia Pike corridor. Three robberies took place at 7-11 stores, 2 at 3003 Columbia Pike and 1 at 4970 Columbia Pike. The ones at 3003 were two blck males that robbed the store of cash and merchandise and fled in a red mustang. The robbery at 4970 Columbia was a hispanic male that pushed the cashier away as he ran out of the store with beer.
The burglaries are spread out throughout the district. The troubling news is just about all had gained entry into the house through an open window or unlocked door. We have some forensic evidence that is being analyzed in these cases.
There is a reported rape and sodomy, but that is domestic related and should not be considered a threat to any neighborhood. The subject was arrested in that case. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
